Sarajevo to Karanac, Croatia

Heading to Karanac for our farmhouse stay, Nik and Ante (our bus driver) treated us to a surprise visit to the small town of Jacobowitz, with one of the most beautiful cathedrals in Croatia, St. Peter’s. It was built by Bishop Strossmayer, a former Jew from a wealthy family who converted to Catholicism and used his money to serve the community.
