Rafflesia trek

It was a lot of mud. Not the kind you slip on, the kind that sucks you in like a swamp. Some people lost their shoes (briefly) and I was close couple of times but managed to hold on to them. They were not in a best state afterwards. The trek was a few hours long and not difficult apart from the time we had to cross a river walking on two overturned tree trunks (much too narrow and much too wobbly) and when we had to cross over some streams by jumping from one misshapen rock to another. Yeah I wasn't a fan of these moments. But they were over pretty quick and the flower was worth itLue lisää
