The Road to Skagway

So the plan was to go to Skagway and spend the afternoon there. Along the way we ran into a small problem … The scenery was amazing!! The road had pullouts everywhere and boy did we use them. The mountains were covered in snow, the lakes were beautiful, and the valleys long and wide.
Isabelle wanted to visit the Chilkoot trail head, a flashback to when she climbed the trail in her youth.
We didn’t make it into Skagway until 4:30pm, and that’s after we gained an hour crossing into Alaska.Leggi altro
