Ollantaytambo

We arrived at the archeological area of Ollantaytambo at about 2800m in the early afternoon. This is our first contact with ancient Inca terraces and their magnificent constructions.
This is an amazing complex with multiple levels of terraces topped by the remains of a sacred temple. Climbing up proved hard in the altitude but the experience was great.Læs mere
