Callao, the artists area

On our last morning in Lima, we organized a guided tour in some of the most interesting areas of the city. We started with a short walk through Callao, once a sea port degraded area and now an artistic area with art exhibitions and wall paintings. This part of the city is now populated by elegant houses and nice stores. We visited Casa Ronald, originally built by an Italian family as a hotel, and then abandoned and requalified as an art gallery and exhibition area.Læs mere
