Queros community visit

Akino, the most enthousiastic member of the community had an accident with his gun yesterday when hunting wild boars. It exploded and hurt his arms so they had to take him to the hospital in Cusco. Unfortunately he is the representative of the community with whom DRIS coordinated our visit.

DRIS has been working in this community since 2008

Queros does not have many people living locally, a lot of inhabitants have a house in Pillcopata.

The houses in this community are still constructed traditionally, as can be seen in the pictures. The people here are of Huachipaire ethnicity and speak the Huachipaire language
