Walking on the wild side

Early start (again) after buffet breakfast & butties made for en route . Full gear on today, it’s a cold start. Wet boots crossing a river , shortcut!
Change socks. Pink sandstone rocks lining the route. C’est Dimanche (again) and the path (GR34) busy with walkers, runners, cyclists, families, groups ; all wearing stylish hats & sunglasses ! Walking through pine woods ; always with the aqua wild sea to our right , wind battered trees, rapeseed fields, bracken, scallop shells, st michel church (so tiny!) A cold west wind sweeping across the longest beaches, one after the other . Paragliders, sand surfers, sand yachts , having fun in the wind . A long long day, up & down , on the top , on sea level , it felt like a week in one day. Seven hours later we arrived at our Spa hotel….bubbles in salt water soothed the feet, legs & shoulders .
