Day 3 Summary

So the third day of riding is finished and I am most of the way back down the North Han river. It’s a Saturday today, so the bike trails are much busier than yesterday.

There are lots of packs of road riders on their carbon bikes and Lycra gear whizzing by. Occasionally, I will get a surprised ‘hello’ from them as they zoom past.

There are also couples out pedaling much more slowly. And lastly, if you hear someone blasting loud music as they approach, then it will be a senior citizen, sometimes also singing along.

Tonight’s motel is at the upper end of my scale, but includes dinner and breakfast. This is great as going out to find a meal when you are tired can be a bit of an effort. Since this is a nice hotel, there was also plenty of hot water! (Last night’s hotel was a little limited in that regard!)

The other good thing about today is that I am only ‘very tired’ instead of completely exhausted! Yay for a shorter day and riding down river!Baca selengkapnya
