Day 1 - London to Munich

Temperature: -2 degrees at Heathrow Airport 6.30 am.

Great stay at Holiday Inn Express at Heathrow Airport.
Woke at 4 am, why!!! I don't know.
It took an hour to get from our accommodation through to our departure lounge and all under cover. At security, they put me through the bomb detector, all clear, of course. I then had to take off my neck pouch with my passport in it, then they mislaid it, and it took a while for them to locate it again. Made my heart miss a beat.
It's snowing. For our 1st night with our tour group, we went to a Beer House for a meet and greet as well as dinner.Leia mais
