Caught the train to Paddington Station, where we had morning tea with one of the ladies from our Christmas lights tour.
The train trip seemed long, but it was pleasant. We only had a small window of sun. Otherwise, the day was dull and wet, it's only 4 pm, and the sun had set. Arrived in Penzance at 5.30 pm pitch black but thank goodness our accommodation, The Longboat Inn, was opposite the station.
