We made it to our cozy Yurt in Fundy National Park near Alma! The first evening we went to the Muddy Rudder for dinner in Alma and explored some of the Bay of Fundy coast at low tide. We got some drinks and snacks then got cozy in our yurt (which had a nice gas fireplace). The second day we learned that no one eats breakfast in Alma (everything was closed until 11 am), so we bought some food at the small grocery store. Erin bought some sliced ham to snack on, but a slice got taken by the wind on the way back to the yurt 😂. We then went on a hike to Matthew's Head. For dinner, we went to the Tides restaurant where we saw a bald eagle, some falcons, and hummingbirds! The food was also delicious. Emma and I went on to the beach to explore the low tide, then we roasted some marshmallows when we got back! We explored some more of the beach before heading to our next destination on the third day.Read more
