Nova Scotia Beach Hostel

We made it to Nova Scotia! We got arrived at the Halifax Backpackers Beach hostel in Black Point, near Peggy's Cove. We went to the nearby Cleveland Beach on the first day and let Emma run her laps around the beach. Erin and I read our books while running from May flies! Emma and I both tried to go into the water but only made it up to our knees since it was freezing. It was a gorgeous day and we all had some fun. When we got back, Emma chatted with the other person in the hostel from the Netherlands, and Erin figured out how to run the hot tub at our hostel, which we used extensively. It even features a small disco ball! We made some hotdogs at the hostel and made plans for the next day for Peggy's Cove and Lunenburg. The next night after our adventures, we roasted marshmallows in the stove! Then Emma and I chatted in the hot tub for a long time :)Read more
