A nice lunch spread right on the river. The weather was perfect.

Glacier Part 3

Continued my Glacier mind blowing activities with an overnight rafting trip with the same family that I backpacked with. We got to know each other pretty well. There were some whitewater rapids (mostly 2 with a few 3s in there). Very fun. We camped riverside. We rafted the middle fork section of the Flathead River. We saw mountain goats, eagles and other birds. There were 2 guides. One went with us and the other took the gear raft. We ate salmon and steak for dinner. A little different from the backpacking. Next I go to St. Mary area to camp and hike. I went to the St Mary’s visitor center to use internet to post this! Going back off grid now Czytaj więcej
