September 18-20. After soaking in the mineral pools in Pagosa Springs I traveled southeast to Santa Fe where I stayed with my friend Laura Cushman Goty and her husband Manuel at their gorgeous new home in Santa Fe. Laura and I went to William Smith College and were roommates in Brooklyn for a few years after graduation 🧑‍🎓 which were fun and crazy years but we both survived! I had not seen Laura and Manuel for 20 plus years! It was so great to catch up, share memories, have an amazing tour of Santa Fe, a trip through Los Alamos and a few great hikes in at Bandalier National Monument and the Valle Caldera. We also witnessed the migration of male tarantulas. It’s the time of year when they are out looking for dates! Laura and Manuel have a beautiful and very personable dog, Ceci (chechi) who apparently likes motorcycles! Thanks Laura and Manuel for a great time in Santa Fe!Read more
