Rest day in Burgos

First ‘rest day’ today and it was fab.

Started the day with a longer lie in and no having to frantically pack my rucksack for starters!

Went for the most blissful massage which left me feeling lighter than air, then had a brief wander round the town.

Visited the cathedral with Nick and Brittany this afternoon which was spectacular, and then spent some lazy hours in our apartment, all flopping out on the sofas and watching films on Netflix together.

Headed out this evening with them all for another mooch around town, a go on the carousel with Brittany(!) and a pizza. Needed to carb load as we’re back on the trail tomorrow morning!Læs mere
