August 13, 2018 in AustraliaToday we had a walk around town had morning tea and lunch at the bakery. The kids tried to look for and capture the kittens again and found them in the drain outside the bakery. We called the council to help the kittens. The council advised that would set a trap to catch them.
August 12, 2018 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 26 °CToday is very windy. We have a relax day, got some homework done, played some games with the kids and got ready for Happy Hour. The publican was quite a character and rode his horse and steer around the park promoting happy hour.

Once in the main Street of town the girls found two stray kittens and made it a mission to feed and rescue them. They thought it would be great to have a pet onboard the motorhome!

This tree has immense historical importance as it is linked to two relief expeditions searching for Burke and Wills and led to people becoming aware of the fertility and wealth of the plains next to the Flinders River.

We thought we would buy 4 meals and the two younger girls would eat off mine and Kylie's plate. Nope, they polished it off and went back for seconds! There are so many beautiful old buildings. Interesting to know that this town was the one that set the gold prices for the world in its prime!
