Lake Toro to Akancho 52km

We followed a gravel road to Kottara Wetlands observatory, which was closed, but we climbed up to it anyway. It provided a nice view out over the wetlands. We continued along nice undulating forest roads to Tsurui where we had lunch in the sports park. We followed the river for a while then completed a big climb on loose gravel to reach Akancho and set up in the nice campground. After a rest we enjoyed the soothing waters of the adjacent onsen.Read more
