Ho Chi Minh City AEon Shopping Mall

Back to Coen and Loc again. For us the 'Three Bells Church' was our orientation point to find their house again because it was nearby. In the evening we went all together to a huge Japanese shopping mall called AEon. Here I found my Vietnamese 'little brother' (a doll at the children's department). Anneke, Coen and Loc spent a lot of time at the ATM's. Anneke and Loc were busy with clothing and Coen and I were looking around at the electronics department (huge smart screen televisions). After doing some shopping at the supermarket over there we went to the restaurant near the entrance and here also I saw my 'little Vietnamese brother', this time a real one. It was a little boy who sat on the table and knew how to make us all laugh each time he took a bite of his ice cream. His chin was all covered with soft ice. After this 'free entertainment' we went back to the house of Coen and Loc. Loc immediately started to clean the house again and provided us without asking with drinks and something to eat. Loco had well guarded the house, no burglars. Later that evening the neighbour from the opposite house also visited us. Drinking a beer he said 'happy New Year' everytime. We had to laugh about it because we are in the month of May, but for the Chinese a new year had just begun.
