Last morning at Folly Beach

We got up this morning and headed to walk the pier at 8am. It was gorgeous out. We walked along the beach back to our place and put our toes in the water one last time.

Then we packed up and drove down the island to check out the house that Taryn and Kevin’s wedding reception was held. It still looks beautiful. Then we drove to the end of the street and walked down a cool graffiti walk way to the famous Morris Island Lighthouse. The beach looked beautiful but the signs said no swimming or wading due to strong currents.

We loaded up in the car and headed back to Columbia. It was an easy drive. All the kids napped at least a bit and we beat long weekend traffic. We stopped at Chic-Fil-A for lunch back in Columbia (on my girls’ list while here) and now are back at Taryn’s with the first load of laundry on and all the beach stuff drying in the Sun.Read more
