Gatún Lake and Locks in Panama

Got to sleep early but up early for the ship’s big sale. Nothing much of interest. We have to tender to shore this time so we went early to join our group for our train tour from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean.

It’s amazing that the Panamanians used the same technique to make Gatún Lake as Norris and Kentucky Lakes. The guide is incredibly knowledgeable and we’ve learned a ton. Sadly the rest of the group were horrendously rude and talked over him almost the whole time. But mom and I got to see both oceans!!Read more
