NYC on the NCL Breakaway

Up at 8 and off to the airport around 9:30. Greg and Kyrie saw us off at the airport. A quick 2 hour trip to New York, we got in a bus with two people also from Myrtle Beach (Bonnie and Mickey) who were on our Transatlantic cruise with us. Bonnie took a tumble and I went back inside the airport to get her ice for her face. Our bus drive didn’t speak much English and we had an eventful drive to the pier with Google maps in Cantonese. Onto the Breakaway with no problems. Our room is on deck 11 right by the elevators! Had dinner at O’sheehan’s with a kind waiter named Sinar. Back to room 11776 to unpack and settle in. We departed at 5:30 heading for Newport Rhode Island! They delivered mom her Platinum Status chocolate covered strawberries. We passed the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island on the way out.
