To the ship

Today we will go to the boat! But first we woke up at about 5am. Luckily (?) the Don Quijote in Akiba is open 24/7 so we went there. Afterwards we had a quick breakfast, packed and left our bags at the front desk when we checked out around 9:30. We went out again to Yodobashi Camera to go to the 100 yen store. The front desk was kind enough to call us a taxi that arrived in less than 5 minutes. We rode to the Tokyo International Cruise Terminal in Odaiba.

There was quite a bit of confusion but we had everything ready, bag tags, documents, passports et al. We got to the waiting gate and suddenly a lady near us hollered, “You’re the girl from Surfside!” It was the couple from a cruise to Canada in 2022. Bonnie had fell on the way to the bus and hit her face very hard on concrete. The bus wasn’t going anywhere so I hopped off and found her some ice. No big deal. I figured anyone would have done the same but I was the youngest so off I went. Anytime we saw them after that on the trip they called me their hero. So now I guess I’m still their hero. Hahaha.

Mom is Sapphire Status now so we got to skip the second queue. Got right on the boat after that and found a quiet place to wait for our room to be ready. Granted the internet area might not have been the best choice, hahaha. The entitlement has already begun. Mom and I figure we will just kill with kindness.もっと詳しく
