Monticello

We made it to Thomas Jefferson's home with just enough time to tour the house and gardens. Clara's favorite thing was exploring the rooms of the house. Papa liked Mulberry Row which featured how slaves made nails, smoked meat, and gardened. Myla liked the bedroom furniture and Millie liked the cellars. Mom enjoyed Jefferson's duplicate letter invention and Dad marveled at the 7 day clock on a 6 day wall. An engineering oops.Read more
