National Holocaust Memorial Museum

A sobering event for all of us. We all leaned more about the magnitude of this tragedy and have a new appreciation for the enormous needless suffering. The girls and Papa were surprised at the sheer size of the gas chambers. Mom and Dad never realized the US would not harbor Jewish survivors. The children's exibit telling the story through " Daniels Diary" was especially well done. We all liked the identification cards given at the start of the exibit.Lue lisää
