    Day 3: London at it's full glory

    Today was a day that I am not use to having. We went to see Big Ben, House of Parliament, and Buckingham Palace. After that we all went to the London eye and then split into groups to explore. Then, the real London Arrived. It started to rain harder then normal. But I had a mission, the mission to see Abbey Road and the house of Sherlock Homes, even in the pouring rain, it was going to happen. And it did.Læs mere

    Day 4: First day in Paris

    When we first got on the train to go to Paris, I was excited because I was going to have two hours to rest before our first day in Paris. When we walked out of the metro and into the streets of Paris I was mesmerized and feel in love right away. I have heard before that Paris is beautiful, but it's not the same to experience it in person. I felt very overwhelmed with Love and aww of how beautiful this city is, London doesn't compare. After visiting the Norte Dame we headed out to find a place to try real Paris crepes and we did, let me just say all the others that I've tried do not compare. After that we decided to go to Shakespeare and Company and I took the most wonderful picture of me grabbing a book 😀Læs mere

    Day 6: Louvre and Night Train

    Today was a very interesting day. I finally got to meet the Mona Lisa and was lucky enough that I didnt get the crowd of people and manage to see her right up front. I came back around 30 minutes later to see how many people were wanting to see her and was shocked by the crowd of people, that I had to take a picture of them. I also laid on the ground for about three minutes to try and take the picture Simon wanted and a crowed started to form around me and I became the sculpture. I also took the iconic foto of me touching the point of the glass triangle inside and out. And lastly our night train ride. That for me was a very unique experience and even though it wasen't the most comfortable sleep, I really loved it. I felt really close with everyone in my room and the most mesmerizing part was waking up around five in the morning and seeing from afar mountains covered with snow. Two things I've never seen before.Læs mere

    Day 7: Florence Florence and Florence

    We just arrived in Florence today and its BEAUTIFUL. Today we had a tour of Florence and it's not as big as I thought it would be, but it is very peaceful compared to the other places we've been. Today we went to Leonardos leather shop and I bought three wallets for my family members. After that we had free time and decided to go to a coffee shop and all I can say is I LOVED THAT COFFEE!!!! That coffee was what made me understand when people said Italian coffee is the best. I have never had a coffee as good as that one and I wish I had more at this moment. I have always drank coffee, ever since I was young, it doesn't make me hyper anymore but it's more of a placebo effect for me. Every time I drink and smell coffee I think of my family and happy times. And when I took the sip of that Italian coffee I can honestly say I was in Nirvana. If you are a coffee lover I recommend trying it yourself, it's called Monalux, I asked. After that wonderful coffee we walked around and found a record shop, while Krystal was looking around I was standing at the balcony looking at the people and I would have to say, that was a perfect day for me. Later that day we had a group dinner and the food was great, I was a bit sad I didnt have more, I have the stomach of an American not European.Læs mere

    Day 8: Assisi and Rome

    On our way to Rome, we stoped at Assisi for two hours to see the Basilica of Saint Francis. I really enjoyed the tour of the Basilica because our tour guide explained the story's behind the painting on the wall and it gave me a visual to be able to understand them. After we left Assisi and arrived in Rome we went to go see the Trevi Fountain. That was very mesmerizing but I was a bit surprise of the size, in pictures it looked bigger but it's still just as beautiful if not better in person. After the Trevi Fountain we walked about five minutes to the Pantheon. I'm always surprised when we turn a corner and see history right in front of me. While at the Pantheon one of my questions got answered while I was listening in on a tour guide explaining the Pantheon. On the floor of the Pantheon right under the open skyline on the roof there are holes and that is where the rain water drains from, I was happy to hear that because all I have done was look up, but I never looked down to see that small detail, and was happy to notice it while I was there and not when doing more research on it.Læs mere

    Day 9: Our Final Day

    Today is our last day in Europe, I miss my home and my family but I can't help be a bit sad that it's over, but at the same time I will come back and I have no doubt about that. Next time my family is coming with me. I was happy to be able to experience this trip but a bit sad that my family didnt have this opportunity. One day they will and I will make sure of that. Today we visited a city within a city, the Vatican. It was very beautiful all the sculpture and items it had inside but nothing beats the Sistine Chapel, it was so beautiful that I had to take a picture for myself to remember it's beauty. After that we went to the shop where we buy rosaries and get them blessed. I ended up buying around 30 so I can bring a piece of the Vatican to my family. After that we visited the Colosseum. I can't stop saying how beautiful this piece of history is. I'm used to seeing new modern architecture in Miami and when your first exposed to something that you have only seen in a History book, it just takes your breath away and more by the fact that it's right in the middle of a growing city. After that we had free time. We stoped in a McDonald's for the first time in 11 days for me and I was surprise by it's large size. After that my group and I walked around and for a while and we ended up by the Spanish steps by surprise. It was all lit up In blue and we ended up finding out that a fashion show was going to happen the next day. Later on that night at our hotel, I found a small yellow car that is iconic when you think of Italy and couldn't help take a picture of it for memory. That was my day today and now time for bed because tomorrow we leave for America.Læs mere

    Day 10: On our way back to the USA

    Today we are spending it mostly on a plane. We are leaving from the airport of Rome, stopping in New York, and then taking our last flight and arriving at Miami International Airport. I would have to say that my last day in Europe was a good one, I was about five pounds over on my checked luggage and the guy that weight it let me pass it without having to pay. Also while arriving at America I opened up the window and was pleasantly surprised to see that we were flying over a rainbow. And when we got to Miami the first thing I saw while leaving the airport were my parents all happy and exited to see me, and me even more exited. As much as I enjoyed our trip in Europe nothing beats being Home with your family.Læs mere
