    Next up I hopped on the bus once more, this time further up the coast to Pearl Harbour. Famously bombed by the Japanese on 7th December 1941, dragging the US into WWII as they declared war on Japan the following day.

    Japan's aim was to weaken the US' military and morale as Japan sought to conquer the South Pacific and South East Asia. However the complete opposite happened as the nation rallied around the military and went full throttle into the war, ultimately coming out on top over the Japanese.    Read more
