Early at the White House

My metro stop for the hostel was around the corner from the White House, so I couldn't resist going to have a quick look. It was 6:45am so the only people there seemed to be journalists. I also didn't want to get too close to the gates with my big bags so looked on from a distance.

I then managed to book my hostel in person after some suspicion and unwelcoming words (I think they might have thought I was a homeless man and I really don't blame them).

I couldn't check in until 3pm but they gave me a towel to have a shower which was nice. I then headed for breakfast at the supermarket and rediscovered BAKED BEANS!!!!!Read more
