Bula! Hello! Fabulous first full day in Fiji, the sun shone all day, the people here are so happy and friendly, it is very hot and humid. We spent a lot of time at the adults only pool enjoying some much needed rest in the shade! We had flowers in our room after it was serviced this morning so I put one in my hair on the right side, only to find out tonight that the right side means you’re single, the left side you’re taken!! 😆
Ian checked the news and discovered there had been a tsunami warning this morning for Fiji 😮 following a 7.0 magnitude earthquake off of the coast of Tonga, fortunately the warning was cancelled 😅 A reminder of where we are in the world right now!
We enjoyed happy hour cocktails this evening whilst watching a beautiful sunset, followed by a traditional Fijian dance and fire show, then dinner in the restaurant, meal plus drinks a total of £28!! Ian is one happy boy! 😆😆Les mer
