Fiji ctd

Very lazy day yesterday, so no footprint!
Today we did our planned boat trip visiting 3 of the Fijian islands, Mana sand island, Monu island & Monuriki - the last one being famous for many of the Castaway film scenes and Survivor tv series.
It was a fantastic day of snorkelling, firstly on the tiny sand island, then at Monu, there were beautiful reefs, we saw parrot fish, cuttle fish, yellow box fish and so many more, the reefs were so colourful, just stunning 🥰
When we reached the castaway island the sky went black whilst we were eating lunch on shore, a reminder of how volatile and changeable the weather in this region can be! We heard thunder but it didn’t rain until we were on our way back a good hour later, fortunately the boat ride back wasn’t too bad considering!
We finished the day with a ‘fire’ sunset and an Italian meal at the hotel, ❤️ All together another fabulous day!! Czytaj więcej
