Before heading back, we checked out The Rock monument on the waterfront—a massive bronze sculpture tracking the town's history through six life-sized figures.
By evening, we were back on the Koningsdam and ready to eat. We had a specialty dining table at the Pinnacle Grill for the filet mignon, which was delicious. We immediately rushed up to the top decks where he had just seen them, but unfortunately, we were just a few minutes too late and missed the show. His photos looked absolutely incredible, though!
After the excitement of the auroral chase, we finished the night drinking and dancing at B.B. King’s Blues Club—a perfect, neon-coloured end to the day.
