Surprise!

The last part of the walk was along a nice tree-lined track next to the Canal de Castilla. Very refreshing!
I reached Frómista around 12.30 and had a sandwich for lunch, making time until the albergue Luz de Frómista opened.
At check-in I found 2 familiar faces: Milka and Svenia, from Germany, who tonight will have shared a room with me for the 3rd night in a row! They met on the Camino and are together all the time. Milka is old enough to be Svenia's mother or grandmother, but they are best buddies. Later Jan turned up at the same albergue. The Germans are head to head with the Italians tonight, I think 😂Läs mer
