    Blakeney by bike

    September 11, 2020 in England ⋅ ⛅ 16 °C

Bike day today to ease the walking with the dodgy back. Only a couple of miles down the road Blakeney is so like many places along this bit of the coast, with a lot of marshland and rivers seperating the village from the actual sea. Lots of crab catching here and boats go out for seal watching Lovely picturesque village with the coastal path just over a mile from the beach. So we content ourselves with a roundabout walk around the village. Back on the bikes and a ride along the coastal road to the neighbouring Cley next the Sea. This time a beach road is available so we pedal out to the pebbly beach. Cley is a one road village very narrow so we decide to pedal back to Blakeney for refreshments. Well what do you know a pub serving Ghost Ship.... lovely! Bit of shopping for provisions and back home. 10 mies in total so not bad. The sunset tonight was very colourful and sticking.Read more
