Harry Leu Gardens

After waking at 3.30am I managed to doze until a reasonable hour but I did get to see my first beautiful sunrise of the holiday.

Today we are visiting The Harry Leu Gardens in Winter Park north of Orlando. On the first Monday of every month, in the summer they open the gardens for free.
We wandered around the 12 different sections of the 50 acres of gardens which contain an oasis of over 40 different plant collections. The house and garden were donated to the City of Orlando in 1961 by Mr Harry Leu and his wife Mary Jane. It is now looked after by a board of trustees.Læs mere
