Roda

This morning, we were awake before the sun had risen fully, and it was a bit chilly, so much so that the cold water in the swimming pool was steaming but it wasn't long before the temperature rose to a respectable 21 degrees.
Today, we're going for a ride to have a look at a few little towns and beaches to the eastern side of the islands north coast.
We start at Roda, a lovely little village with a large sandy beach, a few shops and restaurants, and a very rickety wooden jetty, which, of course, we had to walk over. The sea is beautiful and clear.

Next stop was Agios Spiridon, another small village, only 2 tavernas and a church, but again a lovely sandy beach, and no sea grass on this one , so after a bite of lunch, it's time for a paddle.Read more
