Fort Bravo

Today we're going to the dessert, where they have filmed many a spaghetti western including The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. The film set is now a sort of theme park, with shows in the saloon and Gun fights in the street.
We set off in lovely sunshine but a cool breeze, unfortunately it's cooler than we expected.
A good journey due to lack of traffic but when we arrived we found a slightly run down empty film set. There were lots of buildings, but none that we're open, and a lot only fronts. We made it to the saloon to watch the show, a small production, only 6 members of cast and all in Spanish so no chance of working our what was going on. We decided not to wait for the the stree show as it was really cold. We took a drive into the dessert and decided to go to Sorbes for a walk instead.Read more
