Oviedo Día 1

Well I did arrive via the Camino but it wasn’t planned—the car rental was on the outskirts next to an arrow so I just walked 4 km. Lazy day, tomorrow doing a local hike instead of catching up on etapas I missed in 2016 (I should have planned it as a mini Camino instead of making Oviedo and Gijón bases, but originally it was a post Camino trip when I thought I was doing the Olvidado.

Every time I went past La Regenta there was a massive tour group so may not get any new shots of her this year.

Pues llegué por el Camino aunque no lo planifiqué…la oficina de alquiler de coches estaba en las afueras a lado de una flecha, y lo seguí durante 4 km. Día de vago, mañana haré una ruta por Oviedo en lugar de hacer etapas que perdí en 2016 (sería mejor si lo planificara como un Camino peque en lugar de alojarme en Oviedo y Gijón), pero la idea original era un viaje posCamino cuando iba a hacer el Olvidado.

Cada vez que pasé por La Regenta había un grupo gigante de turistas. Por eso igual no haya fotos nuevas este año.Read more
