Day 12

Had a great night at the Stonehenge pub last night, dinner was very good and we met a couple that are still farming 1200acres at Braidwood in nsw, Noelene aged 73 and Jim 81 caravanning around the outback. We spent the night chatting about farming and listening to Jim's story's he was a very funny man, both of them are great for there age.
We left this morning at 9 and it was a straight run on single lane bitumen all the way into longreach, arrived at the longreach tourist park at 11, this park is massive it has 300 sites, caravans everywhere, setup and headed of to the bakery for lunch, great pies here. Just waiting for the Remetta's to turn up, 23 degrees and a slight breeze very dry here as it seems to be most times we are here.Read more
