Could you stay here for a month ? The answer is yes, would have to be one of the best parks we have stayed in yet, great people and the setting is just like being in the bush with all the conveniences. Started the pack up today as we are heading south tomorrow, went for the daily walk down to the lake and back to the shop for an ice cream, second game of the state of origin tonight so we will be with Peter and Lyn around the pig watching the bum sniffers.Read more

    Day 21

    June 20, 2017 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 22 °C

Started off the day to phone call at 5 am to say the wash down pump in the dairy had crapped itself, so on the phone at 8 o'clock found a new pump in Sale and got Stephen Karndinal to come to the rescue to pick it up and install it, all good by lunch time, thanks Stephen.
Off to town later in the morning, checked out the camping shop which was very good, and then had a look in the hobby shop it has a heap of spares for both of my rc trucks.
Teresa cooked up some cakes for avo tea and we enjoyed them with our neighbours Peter and Lyn.
Steak cooked on the pig, which was fantastic and a few drinks and yarns with our friends next door.

    Day 17

    June 16, 2017 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 23 °C

Yet another magic day here 25 degrees, off for a walk down to the lake some very nice picnic areas and a boat ramp full of grey nomads and their little tinny's, one poor old mate lost both of his tyres off his trailer whilst towing it down to the ramp, not surprising as they were no bigger than wheelbarrow wheels 😂 anyway he just kept going on the rims and launched it. They mostly put pots in and get red claw which is like a small lobster no bag limit and apparently there is plenty in there. The Fairbairn dam is the size of 3 Sydney harbours and at present is 44 percent full.Read more
