What a Great Lunch!

This humble gyro was a lot better than we expected it to be. We were surprised that the meat inside the gyro was chicken rather than pork or beef, as gyros are usually made with. It was sliced so thin that there was nowhere for the flavor to hide! It came with a side of fries, or frites, as they are called here. I'm not sure if it's the oil they are cooked in, or the type of potatoes used, but they are delicious! I must say, I definitely prefer the french fries in Paris more than what we have back home!Lue lisää
