The Lion Dancer

If I hadn't been looking up I would have completely miss this detail of Chinatown. This was mounted on the side of a building up near the roof. It looks as if one of the Chinese New Year Lion Dancers had come to life and was creeping down the wall. This looks so colorful and vibrant, even at night. I can only imagine how bright these colors look in the daytime. If you're ever out taking pictures, this Lion Dancer imparts a valuable lesson. Always look up!Read more
