After walking through the jetway, we’ll be in New Orleans again. It feels kind of strange being back here so soon. It doesn’t really matter though. I’m very happy but tired.
As we walked into the airport terminal, I noticed that we had come in on the exact same gate that we arrived from the last time we were here. Is the New Orleans airport really that small or is JetBlueLæs mere
We’re looking into whether Lyft or Uber would be more economical for the ride into the center of New Orleans. The apps are showing a lot of rides already waiting outside. Let’s go get one!
We made it through the airport very quickly since we didn’t have to pick up luggage and we arrived early enough to avoid the crowds that will, invariably, show up later.
The Uber car assigned to us was already sitting outside the airport so we didn’t have to wait at all. The driver doesn’t seem all that friendly though and didn’t even turn her her around toLæs mere
I’ve never been in a jeep before and it wasn’t too bad of a ride. I think that this jeep has seen better days though. The way the engine sounded, I was thinking that we might not even make it toLæs mere
One thing that really shocked me about this driver was, the whole time we were in the car, she was loudly playing her radio set to a station called Black Information Network. All it seemed to be wasLæs mere
We finally made it to Hotel Indigo in the heart of the French Quarter. This is a very new hotel and it’s minimalist decor looks a bit strange to me. I guess than I’m more used to the moreLæs mere
We’re on the hotel’s top floor so we’ve got a very good view. While the skyline might not be as grand as places like New York or Shanghai, it’s still very nice. I’d like to see how it looks at night.
