Considering it was my first time out for the Christmas season, it was a good night. I didn't get to see as much as I wanted to but I did manage to get to two of the major Christmas sites, Rockefeller Center and Fifth Avenue. I'm hoping to get a lot more done tomorrow. Right now, I just want to get home. I'm cold and tired plus my back, feet and legs are aching. I'm sure that I'll sleep well tonight!Read more

I'm back in Astoria and getting on the train to take me back into Manhattan. The parking in this area is getting worse each time that I come here. Today it took me longer to find a parking spot than it did to drive here. I'm going to have to start considering other options for getting into Manhattan.Read more

Once I got to Times Square I got on the S train heading to Grand Central Terminal. I haven't been here in such a long time and I'm looking forward to seeing what kinds of Christmas decorations and up this year. The model train display in the Transit Museum Store is always a must-see also.Read more

While walking around in Bryant Park, I decided to get myself a cup of hot chocolate from the Max Brenner stand. Wow! It was amazing! So smooth and chocolatey! It was like drinking a cup of melted chocolate bars. It reminded me of the cup of hot chocolate that I had when Kathy and I went to Paris. I definitely want to have this again!Read more
