We’re finally here in our hotel room! We’re on the 12th floor of the J.W. Marriott on Canal Street in the French Quarter. It looks comfortable and, more importantly, clean!

We’re here in the lobby of our hotel and taking a few photos before going out. There’s nobody else around so this is a great opportunity for some pictures.

Music, particularly Jazz, is very important in New Orleans so it’s no surprise that many of these murals are painted to depict scenes of music along with the Mardi Gras celebrations.
