  • Creepy Scarecrow

    October 21, 2013 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 90 °F

This creepy looking scarecrow display was set up near where I was eating. I'm surprised to see something like this in a Disney Park. They are known for the occasional sight on the more macabre variety but this just looks disturbing. I did special processing on this shot to make it look even more eerie.Read more

  • The Red Car

    October 21, 2013 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 90 °F

The Disney imagineers have, once again, done a great job with the immersive details in the parks. This streetcar is actually a shop selling Mickey Mouse ears, autograph books and various other goods that guests to the park find essential. This streetcar reminds me of the Red Car from the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit. I'm sure that the Disney imagineers had that in mind when they built this shop.Read more

  • The Arch

    October 21, 2013 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 90 °F

This arch marks the entryway to the Rock and Roller Coaster. It's a very large chunk of the park that's devoted to just a single ride. I think that the space would be much better used if something more was placed in this area. I don't think another ride would fit but perhaps a restaurant or shop? An even better idea, fitting in with the Rock theme, would be a stage for bands to play rock music.Read more

  • The Hollywood Hotel

    October 21, 2013 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 90 °F

The Tower of Terror is another attraction that takes up a huge section of the park. I don’t think that everything should be jammed closely together, like at a Six Flags park, just that the space in Disney’s Hollywood Studios should be used a bit more efficiently.Read more

  • Overcoming Fear

    October 21, 2013 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 90 °F

Before I ever rode the Tower of Terror attraction, I was very afraid of it and didn’t want to ever got on this ride but, eventually, I did break down and ride it. Surprisingly, once I finally experienced this ride it became my favorite attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It’s still a scary ride but it’s also so exciting! I never miss a chance to get on the Tower of Terror now but I feel bad how much time I spent avoiding this ride because I was afraid of it.Read more

  • The Queue

    October 21, 2013 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 90 °F

The queue for the Tower of Terror attraction is very well done. There’s so much to see that you don’t really mind waiting on line for this attraction. Three wasn’t much of a line today so I was kind of rushed through the queue area.Read more

  • The Main Lobby

    October 21, 2013 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 64 °F

The main lobby is the best part of this rides queue. I wish that I could have stayed and looked over the details a bit more but there wasn’t much of a line and it was moving quickly. I’ve heard that lots of the items in this lobby are props that were actually used on the old Twilight Zone TV show.Read more

  • Ready to Go Up

    October 21, 2013 in the United States ⋅ 🌙 66 °F

Tower of Terror is certainly one of Disney World's more scary rides in terms of eeriness and thrill factor. The ride theme revolves around paranormal activity inside of an old Hollywood hotel and the high thrill factor comes from sudden large drops down the elevator shaft.Read more

  • Going Up?

    October 21, 2013 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 90 °F

This attraction offers a 13-story drop. The drop sequence for each elevator car is selected at random by the attraction's computer system. Measuring 199 feet tall, Tower of Terror is one of the tallest attractions at Walt Disney World Resort.Read more

  • I’m Next

    October 21, 2013 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 90 °F

I’ll be in the next group to go up on the Tower of Terror. Even though I know exactly what to expect, I’m still feeling that nervousness and excitement mixed together. For the first time, I’m wishing that I wasn’t on this trip by myself. Scary rides like this are meant to be shared with others.Read more

  • So Colorful!

    October 21, 2013 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 72 °F

I saw these colorful pop on sale in the Tower Of Terror gift shop. I love the idea of a pop like this, but I know that I would never hold one of these long enough to even come close to finishing it. I bet it taste really good, though!Read more

  • Banners

    October 21, 2013 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 90 °F

Of course, this attraction exits into a gift shop. I browsed around but I didn’t see anything that I really needed. I think that the selection of souvenirs has really gone down in the Disney parks. So much of it used to be ride specific but now it’s nearly all generic. That makes me kind of sad. The only good to come out of that is that it saves me a lot of money.Read more

  • Belle

    October 21, 2013 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 90 °F

I got here just in time! I got here just before the show started and I was able to get a great seat. I’ve seen this show a few times already but it never gets old.

  • Gaston

    October 21, 2013 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 90 °F

Gaston, in my opinion, stole the show. The actor in this part was absolutely perfect in the role. He was exactly like the Gaston from the movie!

  • The Characters

    October 21, 2013 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 90 °F

It was a bit strange to see Disney use their regular costumed characters in the play. I’m not sure what else they could have done but I was expecting to see something that was, possibly, a bit more realistic.Read more

  • Great Performances!

    October 21, 2013 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 90 °F

I wonder if these performers are content to stay as theme park entertainers or if they aspire to move up one day, maybe to Broadway or shows like Dancing With the Stars. A lot of the performers I’m seeing today look like they could easily make it! Everyone is so good!Read more

  • Happy Girl

    October 21, 2013 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 90 °F

She looks so happy! I think it’s great that so many of the Disney cast members are so enthusiastic about their jobs. It must be great to have a career that you love so much!

  • Showgirls

    October 21, 2013 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 90 °F

All of the show girls in the Be our Guest number looked very similar, other than different colors on their costumes. The girl in blue, in the previous picture, was my favorite!

  • Eat Me!

    October 21, 2013 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 90 °F

For the Be Our Guest number, some of the dancers were dressed up as dishes of food to keep things as close to the movie as possible. They really did a great job!

  • The Beast

    October 21, 2013 in the United States ⋅ ⛅ 90 °F

It took a while but the Beast finally appears. He looks the same as the costumed character that greets guests around the park. I don’t know what I was expecting but this disappoints me a bit. I was expecting a special costume that would be used just for this show.Read more
