Starspeeder 3000

I’m just about finished with the first room of the Star tours queue and I’m ready to see more. I’ve been letting a lot of people go ahead of me on the line so that I could stay here and take pictures.
R2 Units

The ride queue is very well designed to look like the boarding area of a spaceport. As I walk through it, I’m seeing more and more great touches, like these very different looking R2 units. I hopeOkumaya devam et
Captain Rex

Captain Rex was the original pilot for the ship in Star Tours but C-3PO took over his job after the latest ride update. I’m glad that they found a place for Captain Rex in the queue rather than justOkumaya devam et
Keep Moving, Folks!

These animatronic tech droids were located throughout the queue, urging people to keep the lines moving by telling them, “nothing to see here, folks! Keep going!” It was a great, and funny, touch.
More Tech Droids

These tech droids were seen all throughout the line, urging people to keep moving forward. I’m very surprised that Disney hasn’t made toys or figures of these guys yet. If they did, I’dOkumaya devam et
Ready to Ride

I’ve finally reached the end of the queue and I’m ready for the ride to the forest moon of Endor. This area looks like an airport. I could really believe that I’m going on a trip!
Time to Board

After watching the obligatory safety video, which is actually very entertaining on this attraction, the doors open up and it’s time to go in and take our seats.
On the Ride

Here’s a look at what Star Tours is actually like. It’s a flight simulator and your seat moves around to make you feel like you’re actually flying on a spaceship. It’s very realistic andOkumaya devam et
Where is Everyone?

I’m shocked by how fast everyone runs off the moment the doors to the ride open up. As for myself, I prefer a more leisurely pace where I’m able to savor every aspect of the attraction. ThisOkumaya devam et
The Way Out

Wow! What a great ride that was! This is one of the best rides that Disney’s Hollywood Studios has to offer and I’m thinking that these motion simulator rides are going to become very big in theOkumaya devam et
My Next Trip?

While leaving Star Tours, I noticed that the corridors were filled with fake travel posters advertising other destinations in the Star Wars universe. I’m surprised that so many people just walk onOkumaya devam et
Alone Again

Once again, I seem to be lagging behind the crowds but I really don’t care. If anything, it allows me to get photos like this, views from my favorite attractions without any people around to causeOkumaya devam et
Droid Factory

Like every other attraction at Walt Disney World, this one exits into a gift shop. I don’t really mind this time though because they are selling some really good stuff!
Lightsabers!

I got very excited when I saw this display until I got over there and saw that they were small plastic lightsabers made for children. What a disappointment! If these were made of metal, and lookedOkumaya devam et
Not These Lightsabers

Here’s a closer look at those lightsabers. Mickey Mouse buttons? A “Try Me” sticker? Could these be anymore childish? No, thank you! These are not for me.
Souvenirs

The shop was filled with souvenirs like this. They may look nice but, once you get them home, you wonder why you bought them and what should you even do with them. I expect that most of them will endOkumaya devam et
Yodas

I like the idea of a Yoda with Mickey Mouse ears on but I didn’t think that the likeness to Yoda was close enough to make me want this. I suppose that when it comes to shopping at Walt Disney WorldOkumaya devam et

I’m back outside again! The only thing that I ended up buying was a small plush Mickey Mouse wearing Jedi robes and holding a lightsaber. Rather than carrying it around with me all day I decided toOkumaya devam et

Moisture vaporators, like this one, are used throughout the galaxy, and are most commonly found on dry desert worlds such as Tatooine. Setting these up is a great detail that adds realism to thisOkumaya devam et

The Sci-Fi Dine-In

There was still some time until the next Jedi Academy show so, rather than just stand and wait in the hot sun, I decided to go to the Sci-Fi Dine In restaurant and take some pictures. I wasn’t goingOkumaya devam et

The people working at the Sci-Fi Dine-In were very accommodating and were happy to let me come in and take pictures. I don’t know how often they get requests like that but I’m guessing that I’mOkumaya devam et
For Your Listening Pleasure

Does anyone remember these things? In keeping with the drive-in theme, this is how you can hear the movies. You just hang one of the speakers on your car’s windows and turn it on. I remember theseOkumaya devam et
Showtime!

I’d say that this is the coolest place I have ever eaten at! The food is good, but nothing outstanding except the shakes! It's the atmosphere that really draws people in, I think.
Tables in the Back

There’s what looks like picnic tables with umbrellas set in the back of the restaurant, near the kitchen. I’m not sure who would want to sit there though. The fun part of going to this restaurantOkumaya devam et
