Household Staff

I’ve seen these characters in parades but never greeting guests. I wonder why? I know that they can’t interact with people very much due to the constraints of the costumes but I’m sure lots ofLue lisää
There’s Something There

Due to time constraints this show obviously can’t show every scene from the movie but, still, it’s a big jump that right after the Be Our Guest song Belle and the Beast are immediately shown asLue lisää
We’ll Kill the Beast!

The show suddenly leaps forward again and Gaston announces, for no apparent reason, that the town must band together and kill the Beast. If I hadn’t seen the movie already, and knew the full story,Lue lisää
The Mob

The show takes a much darker turn as the townspeople go along with Gaston’s plan, becoming a bloodthirsty mob determined to kill the Beast.
The Fight

Of course, the household staff fight back against the townspeople and end up beating them all. There’s been no sign of Gaston though. What devilry has he been up to? What indeed?
Kill the Beast!

While the staff has been fighting the townspeople, Gaston has been stalking the Beast and, in a climatic fight to the finish, delivers the fatal blow that fells the Beast.
Oh, No!

Before being killed himself, Gaston delivers that final blow that slays the Beast... or does he?
It’s the Prince!

Because he learned how to love someone, and earn their love in return, the spell was broken and the Beast is now a prince again!
A Happy Ending

With the spell broken, Prince Adam and the rest of the household staff become human again. Belle and the Prince marry and live happily ever after. I love happy endings!
Aerosmith’s Rock n’ Roller Coaster

Aerosmith’s Rock n’ Roller Coaster is just across from the Beauty and the Beast theater. I’m usually not a fan of roller coasters but I’m determined to try some new things on this trip. Let’s ride!
The Queue

The queue for the Rock n’ Roller Coaster was very interesting. It was made up to look like I was walking through a recording studio.
Always Look Up

While I normally avoid roller coasters, I usually do enjoy the ones at the Disney Parks. There’s so much to look at and everything is so immersive that it really takes you to another world. ComparedLue lisää
This is It!

I made it up to the ride’s boarding area and I’m getting very nervous. It’s not like that fun sort of nervousness like I felt at the Tower of Terror, this is the fear type of nervousness. I’mLue lisää
The Aftermath

I just finished riding the Rock n’ Roller Coaster and, although I made it, I’m feeling a bit shaky. I’m glad that I did it but would I ride it again? I really don’t think so.
Let’s Move On

While I’m sure that this roller coaster is very tame when compared to what they have at Six Flags or Knott’s Berry Farm, it was just a bit too much for me. I didn’t know about, or care for, theLue lisää

Beverly Sunset

The Beverly Sunset is a shop that seems to change it’s theme quite often. Right now, it’s Villains in Vogue, a store devoted to all of Disney’s bad guys along with a lot of seasonal HalloweenLue lisää
Gremlins!

A lot of the things in this shop were amazing, like this figure from the movie Gremlins. I’m thinking that this was probably a prop that was actually used in the film. I’m very impressed with thisLue lisää
The Mummy

The Halloween decorations and items for sale go perfectly with this villains store! I did a little extra processing on this mummy display to make it look a bit more creepy.
The Wicked Witch

The Wicked Witch from Snow White actually does have a name. She’s Queen Grimhilde, or, as she’s more commonly known across popular media, The Evil Queen.
Maleficent

Maleficent is the self-proclaimed "Mistress of All Evil", who, after not being invited to a royal christening, curses the infant Princess Aurora to prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheelLue lisää
Jafar

Jafar, in his more sinister serpent form, is one of this stores big displays. I really like these sort of shops, with specialty items and original themes. It’s so much better than just being aLue lisää
Hollywood Boulevard

As I leave Villains in Vogue, headed for the other side of the park, I take a quick glance down Hollywood Boulevard. Everything looks fine so it’s time to move on .
Audition Today!

This was the first thing that I came to on the other side of the park. I’ve never seen this before so I’m going to give it a try. I’m trying for as many new experiences on this trip as I can get!
American Idol

I’ve watched American Idol on TV for years so I’m familiar with the format and idea of the show. This should be fun and interesting.
