A lot of theme parks have discontinued rides like this. I'm not sure why but they always claim it's for "safety concerns". I've seen reports in the news about people falling out of these carts, usually the people who fall die.
Is this really the fault of the ride or the parks? I don't think so because, when I was young, every amusement park in the country had this kind of ride and nobody ever had a problem with it. People were told to stay seated and keep their hands and arms inside the cart and, big surprise, they did it. Nowdays, people refuse to follow all sorts of rules and directions. Then, when something happens, it's the park's fault rather than the stupid people who won't follow the rules. I don't know why they ignore all the directions, since these rules are in place for their own safety. Because of too many stupid people not following rules, and common sense safety ideas, we have almost lost great rides like this. I don't know why people now act so stupid and have such a sense of entitlement. Everything was so much better the way it used to be.En savoir plus
