Tim Hortons

Could not finish the trip without mentioning the coffee shop chain “Tim Hortons”.
One of the first things our talkative taxi driver pointed out to us on our ride from the airport to downtown Toronto was the above. He gave us a quick history lesson on Tim and the rise and rise of his coffee outlets across Canada. He was correct as they appear to be on most street corners wherever you go.
He also complained a lot about the traffic!
Tim Horton (January 12th 1930 - February 21st 1974). Professional ice hockey player and coffee shop founder, died far to young at the age of 44 in a car crash.Weiterlesen
