Split Old Town

After reading a few descriptions of Split the one stand out thing seemed to be that a visit to the Diocletian’s Palace was a must. So with a bit of help from Uber we set off for a visit. Now here’s the thing. The Palace is not some grand building on a hill top but very much a part of the old town itself. Bars, restaurants, shops and even apartments blend together with the old Roman ruins waiting to be investigated.
After allowing ourselves to wander the old streets and alleyways for a while we decided a rest was required so dived into a bar for coffee and a bite to eat before heading off again.Læs mere
