This is one of our favourite French Aires and we usually stop off hear for the night before the long drive to Calais.
Not much happening but it is safe and free. There is a collection box by the water point that we put a few Euros in before leaving.
At the Aires this time we found ourselves parking next to a group of French Mushroom hunters and using the international language of Wine a very pleasant evening was had by all.
The group photo is very dark but it’s the memory that counts.

Fantastic! What a great day out the Dock Yard is.
It’s not surprising the tickets are valid for a year as it is not possible to cover all the attractions in one day. Victory and the Mary Rose museum were the highlights of the day.
Back to the campsite now and get ready for our night sailing to Bilbao.
